Правильний транслит?

Привет.

I have next domain zakoni dot info (this means "laws" in Serbian) and I am wondering is it correct writing in Russian language too. If yes, then please give appraisal for my domain.

Спасибо,
ајкула

rather precious I suppose, could be used even by federal institutes... or (the first thought) by juridical company...

zakon.info will be more expensive than yours in our market - may be up to hi $xxx - low $xxxx to end user.
Your's one is up to hi $xx to reseller, mid $xxx to end user.

i think that it is not as correct as you think, there are a lot of people, who type in the browser exactly russian letter Ы as "I" - and they even don't know another way to "translit" ;) this letter

I have an experience in trading (i was a seller) domains with this letter I as "Ы"

п.с.
Надо привлекать сюда иностранцев...пусть инвестируют в RU Зону побольше )))

Big thanks to everyone who posted comments for my domain. More appraisals are welcomed too.

I never buy domains, because it is Russian. I don`t know Russian language and don`t want to bother my Russian friends with my domainer`s hobby (but I like this forum very much and I am happy to be member here because here are a lot of Russian fellow domainers. I am very thankful to all of you who wants to help). On the other hand, I am very picky with Serbian domains too. Our market is very weak and there is not a lot of people who wants to spend more then $xx for domains although there are some other examples like is oglasi.me (sort of domain hack "advertise.me" $1.200) or pair of domains: hosting.rs and hosting.co.rs for $3000. Also IMHO we have same problem as you have: correct writings for non ASCII letters. I don`t like to guess what enduser is looking for if domain has some Serbian letters in it (eg. kuće means homes or houses in Serbian and there is lot of possilities to write that using ASCII characters: kuce (which now means puppies), kuche, kucce or kutje): every of those possibilties doesn`t look and sound nice and is pretty confusing for internet users IMO. That is the reason why I have only Serbian domains which can be written with ASCII characters only. I always check Cyrillic version of keyword in google (we have two official letters in Serbia: Latinic and Cyrillic) and here and there I find out that some of my domains might be interesting for Russian market too (here are some other examples which I have: elektronika dot info, vesti dot mobi, sindikat dot org), but I am heavily confused with your translation rules, so that is the reason why I made this thread.

If you want that more foreigners register . ru domains, then your domain registrars need to decrease price for .ru for non residents and also give more payment solutions like are credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex etc.) or at least paypal for purchasing domains online (I find payment with WebMoney on Russian sites only and WebMoney asks too much to become their user, AFAIK I need to send them lot of documentation and all of that to send them via postal service (I became eg. MoneyBookers user in just few minutes)). Just my 2 kopejka.
