The discount cannot be used to transfer premium domains.
If you have renewed your domain within the last 45 days with another provider, your extra year may not be added if you switch in the first 45 days of your renewal. This situation only occurs if the domain actually expired before you renewed it with your previous registrar. If this is the case with your domain, we recommend you wait to move your domain until the 45-day period has passed, allowing you to take advantage of the extra year(s) you just bought. There is a 60-day lock-in period when a domain is first registered during which it cannot be transferred.
